About Sage May
Sage May is the dog you didn't know you needed—unfiltered, hilarious, and full of personality. A bold spirit with a goofy streak, she’s come a long way from her hard start as a stray. These days, Sage races through her foster home as the queen of mischief, tossing toys and chasing her tail when no one else will play (which isn’t often—she always ropes her canine friends into a romp). She loves water, nighttime cuddles, and has a glimmer in her eye that signals a scheme is always brewing, often involving something she shouldn't be chewing. There’s never a dull moment with Sage. She needs an energetic household and a high-energy canine buddy who can match her pace. She does best with other active, playful dogs and is not suited to homes with small dogs or cats. Apartment life or quiet homes won’t cut it—she needs room to play, boundaries to keep her on course, and people (and pups) who love adventure as much as she does. A 4-foot or higher secure fence is a must for her explorations. Sage is in Pacolet, SC and adopters should be prepared to travel for a meet and greet. She’s not perfect, but she’s the perfect project for someone who wants a once-in-a-lifetime dog. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
