About Rex

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Rex is an energetic and joyful soul who arrived at the rescue alongside Olivia, both discovered on a quiet stretch of rural highway. Thanks to the compassionate actions of a caring widow, Rex and his companion found safety, quickly hopping into her car without hesitation. Now, after receiving plenty of love and care, Rex is ready for a loving home of his own. He is a Red Heeler mix with a zest for life, always cheerful and eager for an adventure, whether it’s hiking, camping, or hitting the beach for a day of play. Rex also loves riding in the car, making him a wonderful partner for outdoor excursions. While Rex came in with Olivia, he’s not a bonded pair and is perfectly happy to be the only dog in your home. He’s very social, getting along well with other dogs and older children, and is sure to win your heart with his happy demeanor and affectionate nature. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful friend who’s ready to start a new chapter, Rex would love to meet you. Fun fact: With a birthday of February 14, Rex is an Aquarius—known for their loyalty and adventurous spirit, just like him! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
