HISTORY: BUCKY was part of our President's Day Litter, born Feb 17, 2020.   Quickly adopted out,  he is now back under our care when he was having a tough time adjusting to his growing human family. Bucky is a coonhound mix who loves cuddling on the couch, long walks outside or just roaming the backyard. Extremely food motivated, Bucky is super smart, he will "sit" and "shake" and will love showing off for you if you have a treat for him! Bucky prefers to be the only animal in the home as he doesn’t like to share your attention. He also needs time to warm up to you but once he does, he’ll be sitting on your lap and cuddling with you on the couch/in bed! Bucky can be easily spooked with loud noises or those approaching him too quickly so he will need a gentle soul who is willing to put in the effort to gain his trust. Once he does though, he will be your best friend for life. He would also do best in a home with no young children but would be okay with children 12 or older who are willing to respect his boundaries and earn his trust.
