About Whiskey

Meet Whiskey, a lively Treeing Walker Coonhound with a heart full of joy. Around 2 years old and tipping the scales at approximately 60 pounds, he came to us from a rural shelter in Southwest Virginia back in February. Since then, Whiskey has flourished both physically and emotionally, revealing his warm and affectionate nature. Whiskey thrives on companionship. He loves being close to people, often trying to snuggle into your lap. Smart and eager to learn, he is crate-trained and housetrained, and he's currently refining his indoor manners. Whiskey adores other dogs; he truly needs canine playmates and ample fenced-in space to run and frolic with them. His gentle and social demeanor makes him an exceptional companion, deserving of a wonderful forever home. Augusta Dog Adoptions, a charitable rescue, takes the utmost care of its dogs. Apply to adopt Whiskey today; he’s waiting for you!
