About Bubba
Bubba is a playful orange tabby with a big personality and a gentle soul. Rescued from a tough hoarding situation, he found safety with Caring For Creatures and has made great strides since arrival. He’s extremely friendly and active—always up for a spirited game with his favorite wand toys, sometimes joined by other FeLV+ cats in the room. Bubba greets new faces with curiosity, but can be cautious at first and prefers you come to him; he’s not a lap cat, but sticks close to people and is quick to rub against your legs or ask for petting the minute you sit down. If you go slowly, his shyness quickly fades. His expressive face, often showing a bit of crustiness around his eyes, gives him a quirky charm—though his runny eyes are a chronic condition, they don’t bother him or slow him down. Bubba is double positive for FIV and FeLV, so he needs a home with similar FeLV+ buddies or as a solo companion. He does well with other friendly cats and enjoys having company but also appreciates solo nap time. Bubba’s energy, affectionate nature, and clownish playfulness make him a joy to have around. If you’re ready for an agile, goofy, and loving cat who’ll keep you entertained and melt your heart with a purr, Bubba is waiting in Palmyra, VA. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
