About Toasty
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Toasty is a charming 3-4-year-old male Yorkshire Terrier who adores people and appears to be fully house trained. As a Yorkie, Toasty is happiest as the only dog in the home, though he might also enjoy meeting a compatible resident dog to see if a friendship sparks. Toasty is a true survivor, having bounced back from both a hit-and-run accident and hip surgery, and he is now thriving. Since he has healed from his previous injuries, Toasty looks forward to running in a large backyard, joining his family on walks, and being part of an active household. To ensure Toasty’s continued health and happiness, it’s important that he not be placed with large dogs or in homes with small children due to his past hip injury. Toasty is currently heartworm-positive and is receiving the slow-kill treatment, and he will come with a year’s supply of heartworm prevention. If you’re searching for a joyful and resilient companion and can provide an active, caring environment, Toasty might be the perfect addition to your family. Fun fact: With a date of birth on August 3, Toasty is a Leo—known for their spirited and loving personalities, which truly shines in this little survivor. Ready to fall in love?
