About Gracie

Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Gracie is a nearly 6-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who has completed a thorough obedience training program, including a 3-week board and train. She may be a bit shy when first meeting new people, but with patience and some treats, she quickly warms up and becomes affectionate. Gracie knows commands like sit, place, leave it, and responds to 'break' as her release word. She truly loves spending time with people, cherishing cuddles and any attention she can get. Gracie enjoys watching—and sometimes chasing—squirrels in the yard, so a secure outdoor space would be ideal for her. She can be selective with other dogs and prefers to be the only dog in the home since she likes being the alpha. Around children, she does quite well as long as they respect her space and give her time to acclimate. Due to her high prey drive, Gracie is not suitable for a home with cats. Her loyalty and loving nature make her a wonderful companion for a family ready to meet her needs. As a fun fact, Gracie's birthday places her under the sign of Scorpio, often known for their loyalty and passionate spirit—qualities Gracie certainly embodies! Ready to fall in love?
