Kane is a four year old, friendly boy who came to the shelter when his owner had to move. He arrived with his housemate Kona and both are waiting for another family to take them home. Kane loves people and is happiest when he can snuggle with his humans. He will play with toys - especially rope toys- and has wonderful leash manners. On a walk, he frequently checks in to make sure he is doing the right thing and moves happily forward. His owner stated that he is crate trained and lived with children. He also enjoys car rides and is dog social. Kane would make a wonderful family pet - he loves people and other dogs and is quite the "cuddle bug." The shelter has an appointment only policy.
