About Thelma
Thelma and her best friend Louise have waited years, hoping for someone to finally notice them. Overlooked time and again, they’ve come out the other side sweet and loving. These two are a bonded pair—Thelma is the affectionate, gentle mom, while Louise leans on her for comfort. If you're considering helping them, know that these girls absolutely must be adopted together—separation is not an option. Their journey hasn’t been easy. They arrived emaciated but kept a sweet disposition through it all. Thelma is highly house trained and gets along with everyone she meets. Louise starts off shy, then relaxes once she gets to know you. Both adore each other and just need a quiet, patient home where they can feel safe. For Thelma and Louise, privacy fencing is required, and no neighboring dogs—a calm, secure place is a must. They aren't a fit for homes with children, cats, or small animals. The good news: Canine Partners is ready to help adopters get everything set to meet their needs. The dogs are fully vetted, including spay, vaccinations, and microchip, and the adoption fee is sponsored for both. They’ll come with extra support, plus a group obedience class. The only thing left is a home willing to give them a real second chance. Click apply to start the adoption process.
