About Big Luna
Big Luna is a gentle giant with a heart as big as her paws. She's convinced she's a lap dog and makes a career out of settling herself right beside her people on the couch. Luna thrives on human connection and wants to be in the middle of the family action—affectionate, silly, and loaded with personality. She keeps herself entertained by toting around toys and dragging blankets from room to room, but she's just as content snoozing during downtime. Luna is fully house trained and crate trained, with solid basic manners. She prefers privacy during meals and enjoys eating in her extra-large crate. Luna has lived in a bustling foster home, meeting over a hundred dogs of every shape and size, and reliably gets along with other dogs with proper introductions. She could share her home with another dog or soak up all the attention as a solo dog. Luna should not live with cats or small animals, as those haven’t been a fit. She has done fine around a parrot. She enjoys long walks and taking in the sights, but after recovering from injuries to both ACLs, her activity is managed—no high-impact play or lots of stairs. Luna hasn’t lived with young children, so homes with older, dog-savvy kids are best. If you're looking for an oversized, affectionate goofball who wants all the couch time and a real connection, she's your match. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
