About Lulu

Lulu and Max are two bonded Chihuahuas looking for a home where they can stay together. Lulu is the social butterfly of the pair, happiest curled up in your lap or shadowing you during the night—very much a Velcro dog who loves company. Max is more reserved; while he prefers keeping some space, he still wants to sleep in bed with you. Both stick close and seek connection in their own ways. Their reunion after a short separation at the Dallas Animal Shelter shows just how strong their bond is. Max is being treated for a mild heartworm infection, using a safe, slow-kill approach. Both dogs are spayed and neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and recently had dental care. Their adoption together is non-negotiable, and their new family will need to avoid homes with large dogs, small children, or open swimming pools. A totally enclosed yard and no doggie door are required, considering their small size. They thrive around calm people and would do best in an adult home that values a quiet routine.
