Meet Mango, a 8ish year old male orange tabby who was rescued from the West LA animal shelter. Mango has an autoimmune disorder called Pemphigus foliaceus (PF) is the most common feline autoimmune skin disease. Because of this, he will need to be on a medicine administered 1x daily for the remainder of his life. Despite his condition, Mango is an extremely affectionate and friendly cat who loves to be near his humans! Mango loves undivided attention, and do to this, it would be best if Mango was the only cat. He is ok with other cats/dogs, but prefers them to stay away from him. Mango is quiet, mellow, and loves to hang and snuggle. We are also open to Mango going to a foster home, where we pay for the meds and medical bills due to his condition. It’s pretty manageable at this point, but flareups could happen in the future. Please read up on the condition before applying.
