Meet Punky Brewster! Punky is a 11 month old female kitten who we rescued from the North Animal Shelter. She was brought in by police officers who found her in the back seat of a car whose owner was arrested. The shelter deemed her as ‘severe animal neglect’ due to her condition. She was extremely malnourished and underweight for her size. Additionally, her eyes had gone too long with an infection and she lost site in both her eyes. Despite all of this, she has made a remarkable recovery and is the sweetest, spunkiest, craziest kitties we have taken in! She LOVES to be in the mix, very outgoing and loves the company of other cats, dogs and humans! Although she is blind, she gets around really well. In a new environment, she will need a few days of adjusting and getting to know her way around. She is FIV/Felv negative, spayed, and up to date on vaccines. She would do best in a home that could offer her the stimulation she craves and affection that she deserves. She is a petite girl who will likely remain tiny for her size. Right now at 11 months, she is the size of a 4 month old cat.
