About Coco
This could be the start of something paw-some. Coco, lovingly nicknamed "Bean," has made an incredible transformation during her time in foster care. Once so overweight that just a stroll around the neighborhood was a challenge, she's now keeping up with interval training alongside her foster mom! With her high prey drive, Coco delights in squirrel watching in the yard—and with her newfound fitness, she's even been known to try climbing trees. She prefers the company of similarly sized dogs but has plenty of affection for her people, always eager for cuddles and occasionally flashing a sweet grin. At eight years old, this stunning fawn Doberman has retired from her years as a Mama dog and is now ready to be utterly spoiled. Her foster mom calls her the sweetest girl she's ever met, and Coco adores sunbathing whenever she gets the chance. Like many Dobermans, loud noises like fireworks and thunderstorms make her nervous; in those moments, she finds comfort by carrying around a shoe, just like she once did with her puppies. Coco currently lives with a very young male Doberman whom she tolerates, but she prefers a calmer companion or to soak up the love on her own. She would thrive in a home where she's treasured like the queen bee she is—a peaceful stroll or simply relaxing in the yard with her people would make her happiest. Start your journey together!
