About Sage

Sage is a striking tabby boy about 8 to 9 months old, surrendered when he was just a kitten for being "bad." He grew up as a solo kitten and didn’t get to learn boundaries from littermates, which left him brimming with energy and prone to playful nips. Since joining the rescue, Sage has made huge strides—his wild phase is mostly behind him now, though he’ll still give the occasional gentle love bite, never in anger. He’s not aggressive; just a young cat with a lot of enthusiasm for life. Sage can be a little grouchy around unfamiliar cats at first, but with time, he settles in, and he’s fine living with other cats or as the only feline in the house. At his core, Sage is an affectionate, sweet-natured cat who soaks up attention. He’s ready for a family who can enjoy his spirited presence and give him the steady home he deserves. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
