About Fig & Vanilla
Fig & Vanilla are a pair of bonded sisters, both members of the one-eyed club and utterly unaware that they’re any different. Fig, the darker gray cat with the sole working eye, is the dynamic hunter—always chasing after toys and treats with the kind of curiosity you wish you had. She constantly wants to be close, turning lap snuggling into an art form, whether that means curling at your feet or draping herself behind your head on a chair. Vanilla, mostly white and totally blind, is a gentle explorer, impressively brave even without sight. She maps out new spaces at her own pace and, once comfortable, transforms into a silent shadow: quietly leaning on your leg and soaking in presence and sound. The sisters are equally at home together or independently; either way, their love for food is hard to overstate. Shake a treat bag, and Fig meows like a regular cat, while Vanilla lets out her signature human-like yell. Both girls play with abandon, showing no interest in slowing down just because they see the world a little differently. They’re responsible with the litter box and scratching posts, making them easy to live with.
