About Josie & Luna
Josie and Luna are a pair of healthy, bonded sisters ready to start their next chapter together. They were rescued from a neglected yard in Sunset Park and have since settled into a foster home, learning what it means to be indoor cats. Both are intuitive and playful, with curiosity that keeps them engaged throughout the day. They nap in cozy spots, bird-watch from windows, and have a soft spot for Cat TV. Evenings are for chasing toys and scaling cat trees, but they also love ending their busy day with cuddles—though on their terms, as they’re still getting used to being handled. That said, chin scratches and head bumps are already favorites. These two need a patient adopter willing to invest time in their continued socialization. They’re food-motivated (Weruva wet food is a top pick) and enjoy cat grass after meals, so building trust, especially with treats, works well. Josie and Luna communicate well if they feel overwhelmed—a little hiss or tap if they need space, not out of aggression but excitement. They keep their nails in check on scratchers and are learning, slowly, that nail trims aren’t so bad if snacks are involved. Keeping them together is a must—their bond gives them comfort and confidence as they adjust to new experiences. Both are great eaters, playful climbers, and still figuring out the quirks of human interaction. With calm, consistency, and kindness, they’ll continue to blossom and fill your home with gentle comedy and affection. Veterinary wellness checks have been excellent, and they’re healthy and thriving in foster. Josie and Luna are ready to be the heart of a patient, loving home that lets them flourish at their own pace. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
