These 29 dogs were rescued by Big Dog Ranch from a hospital where they needed urgent help. When we arrived and saw the condition they were in, we knew we had to act. With a dedicated team, it took about seven hours to safely catch each one-most were afraid, yet sweet and innocent, confused by what was happening. Now, at Big Dog Ranch, they're safe, receiving medical care, love, and attention. Some are learning to walk on a leash, while others are slowly learning to trust our K9 care staff, discovering that a gentle pet or a warm hug is a good thing.
