About Rocky
This could be the start of something paw-some. Meet Rocky! He is a beautiful 3.5-year-old German Shepherd Dog with a stunning black and brown coat and a classic, noble look. Rocky may be hesitant at first when meeting new people, but once he warms up, he’s all in—showing off his happy, silly side. He thrives with patient people who are willing to let him build trust and continue learning at his own pace. Rocky’s journey started with a tough experience at a shelter, which left him scared and reserved. However, thanks to a dedicated volunteer and lots of care, he was able to open up and reveal his affectionate personality. He faced health struggles, but after overcoming pneumonia, Rocky bounced back stronger than ever. Now, he’s flourishing in his foster home. He has fantastic manners: crate trained, house trained, great in the car, and he’s becoming better at leash walking every day. Rocky gets along very well with dogs, enjoys their company, and would do especially well with a friendly canine companion. He doesn’t seek affection from people until he’s comfortable, but once that bond forms, he’s a loyal and loving pal. Rocky will do best living in a house with a yard rather than an apartment. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and does not show destructive behavior inside or out in the yard. Rocky is used to being home alone without any issues. If you’re seeking a companion who needs a special person willing to earn his trust, Rocky may just be the boy for you. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
