About Big Boy
Big Boy is a four-year-old Hound mix with striking black and cream markings and soft, pleading eyes. After a tough start surviving as a stray and recovering from past injuries caused by other dogs, he arrived at Big Dog Ranch in December 2023. These early hardships made Big Boy cautious around new people, but once you earn his trust, he turns into a real sweetheart—quiet, gentle, and ready to lean in for comfort. Despite what he's been through, he's amiable with other sociable dogs and handles proper introductions well. He enjoys getting outside for walks and responds nicely on a leash. Kennel-trained and adaptable to a structured environment, Big Boy still has a playful, loving side that comes out when he feels secure. He's patiently waiting at the Big Dog Ranch in LOXAHATCHEE, FL, hoping his second chance for a steady home will finally come through. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
