About Valko
Valko proves that some huskies really do break the mold. He’s crate trained, doesn’t try to escape or shred his space, and settles in calmly when his foster leaves for work. Cue him and he heads to his crate without any fuss. Valko already knows how to sit and lay down, and while he’s working on being quieter—he’s a true husky who likes to talk—he’s picking it up with practice. He’s gentle when taking treats and loves belly rubs once trust is gained. Playtime means energetic games of tag, and Valko clearly enjoys both running around and cozy downtime. Treats motivate him and he’s sharp; he sits before going out or leaving his crate and doesn’t bark outdoors unless he needs to come inside. Indoors, he’ll chat about anyone passing by, in classic husky style. Valko’s affectionate and attentive, though he needs time for his trust and affection to show. He’s excellent on leash, sensitive to the slightest cues, and responds quickly. Around other dogs, he does well with slow introductions but should not be placed with cats. He has moderate energy and could do well with older children, especially with a careful introduction. He’s neutered, up-to-date on shots, and microchipped. Ready to see if Valko could be a match?
