This big silver grey boy is Smokey. He was rescued from the streets of Newark with his sister Ash by one of our rescue partners. They were too friendly to remain outside. Smokey is obsessed with two things....wet food and catnip toys. He will scream at you to eat if you are even a minute late with his dish. Smokey is slightly on the shy side but is warming up fast while watching his sister interact with their foster mom. Smokey plays with his catnip toys all day and really likes to throw them into the water dish for his foster mom to find. He likes butt scratches and is slowly starting to allow head scratches. Smokey would do great in a home with another friendly and confident adult cat who will hang out with him while he learns to socialize with humans.
