Meet Delaney – A Resilient, Sweet Shepherd Mix Ready for Her Next Chapter Delaney came to Bellwether Harbor as a shelter transfer and has quickly become a staff and volunteer favorite. She’s a young shepherd mix with an estimated birthdate of 8/22/2024. Delaney may have experienced trauma in her past — her head has a slight tilt and a unique shape. We're not sure whether it’s from an accident or something she was born with, but one thing is clear: it doesn’t hold her back one bit. She runs, plays, and enjoys life just like any other dog. This girl loves people and is always up for an adventure. She lights up around her human friends, and her tail never stops wagging on walks. She can be uneasy around other dogs, so she may do best as the only dog in the home — where she can be the center of attention and soak up all the love. Delaney is currently enrolled in a training class to help her build more useful skills and confidence. While it’s still early in the process, she’s already showing a great attitude and willingness to learn. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.
