About Thor
Thor is a big, powerful Pit Bull Terrier mix with striking black and white markings who draws you in with his goofy charm and gentle nature. He’s an eager learner—just flash a treat and he’ll sit right down. Out on walks, Thor loves to lead the way and makes a fantastic running companion. On the softer side, he enjoys lounging on the couch and sneaking in snuggles, often showing off his nearly perfected "shake" and handing out hugs and kisses. He keeps his space clean, never chewing up his bed or toys, and takes pride in a spotless kennel. While Thor can be a little shy around men, he’s a favorite with his boarding buddy’s daughter and gets along well with children and cats. However, he isn’t dog-friendly, so he needs a home where he can be the only dog. His resilience shines—he has completely recovered from old gunshot and stabbing injuries and is ready for a new start. Thor must find a home or foster outside Wichita city limits because of PDD regulations. If you’re looking for a loyal, smart, and affectionate single-dog companion, Thor would love to meet you.
