This is a courtesy posting. Cookie is around 4 years old. He was a stray and in bad shape. A very nice lady took him in, fed him and eventually earned his trust. She has since gone in to a nursing home, unfortunately for Cookie. This kitty is very independent ..... but fearful of strangers and stressful situations. He likes to go in and outside ...... also seems to like the company of other kitties. He is a finicky eater. He loved to sit on the nice lady's lap on a warm blanket and be petted. And most nights slept at the foot of her bed. He asks to go outside and is vocal when he wants to come in. He is litter box trained and spends alot of time sleeping. We, at be the change cat rescue don't like to see kitties go outside because of the dangers ..... predators whose diet is cats and other smaller animals, not to mention cars, diseases and other pitfalls. In this case however, because he started outside and has 'come in from the cold', we are hoping to place him in a trailer park or other surroundings with safer outside areas if he insists on going outside.
