About Blossom
Blossom is a 12-year-old cat who’s smart, feisty, and truly knows her own mind. She spent months surviving in an empty house after her person became too ill to care for her, relying on a stranger for food and finding shelter wherever she could. This experience left Blossom wary, and she lashed out in fear and confusion at first, hiding from anyone who tried to help her. It took patience and gentle persistence for her to trust again, but over time, she let her guard down. Now, Blossom greets trusted people with purrs and head bumps and has become a favorite among volunteers. Blossom needs a home where she’s the only cat and can bond closely with someone who’ll give her space, respect her spirit, and let her blossom at her own pace. She’s not interested in living with other animals but has plenty of love for her person once she feels safe. If you’re seeking a loyal, one-on-one companion who will reward your patience with affection, Blossom is ready to find her new home. Think you are the one? Submit an application!
