About Boone
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Boone, also known as Booney Boy or Boone Dog! He's a remarkable hound with a sharp mind and big heart, searching for a home with an experienced and patient adopter who can help him thrive. Boone is incredibly smart and needs plenty of mental stimulation to keep his mind busy and anxiety away; he especially loves working his nose and showing off the tricks he knows so well. Though Boone is affectionate and playful, his rough past has left him a bit wary of new people. However, when he bonds with someone, his loyalty shines through. He enjoys being close to his trusted humans and is making great progress overcoming anxiety with the support of his caring team. Boone does best as the star of the home or with carefully selected dog friends, as his dog friendships can be selective. He's not a fan of cats or young children, and boarding life hasn’t suited him. A supportive home will give Boone the chance to decompress, build trust, and show his wonderful nature. Only patient and experienced adopters or fosters should apply. Born on June 26, 2021, Boone is a Cancer, which means he's loyal and deeply sensitive to those he loves. His adoption fee includes spay/neuter, a microchip, and up-to-date vaccinations. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
