Baxter Roo is a 7-year-old Rottweiler/Lab mix who has recently found himself at the shelter after losing his owner. At seven years old, this is a big life change for him, and while it’s been an adjustment, his sweet nature is already shining through. Baxter Roo is a bit timid at first, but once he begins to trust you, he is incredibly sweet, gentle, and loving. He seems to find comfort in kind voices and patient people, and you can just see how much he wants to bond with someone again. He has lived with other dogs in the past, and we are continuing to learn more about him as he settles in. So far, he has met one of our dogs here, Noelle, and was very friendly, which is a wonderful sign. We will keep learning more about his personality and needs as he becomes more comfortable. Baxter Roo is the kind of dog who will thrive in a home that offers patience, kindness, and understanding as he navigates this new chapter in his life.
