About Moose
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Moose, a charming young male black kitten who was born on May 12, 2025—making him a practical and reliable Taurus! Moose is a little more reserved than his siblings at first, but he warms up quickly with some playful interaction and a few tasty treats. He’s spent his kittenhood with six siblings and six adopted siblings, and he gets along beautifully with them all. Moose entertains himself by pouncing on feather toys, wrestling with his brothers and sisters, and enjoying cozy naps. He would thrive in a home with another cat or kitten companion and would especially love to be adopted alongside a littermate. Though Moose hasn’t met dogs or young children yet, most kittens his age adapt quickly to new situations when properly introduced. Moose is up to date on all his first-year vaccinations (including rabies), microchipped, neutered, dewormed, and reliably uses the litter box. He does have special needs—Moose has tested positive for feline leukemia virus (FeLV), a condition that is only contagious to other cats and is not dangerous to dogs, other animals, or people. With proper care, FeLV-positive cats can live enriching, happy lives. Moose’s adoption fee is $200, with a discount available for those adopting more than one feline friend. He is currently cared for by the Alaska Cat Adoption Team. Ready to give Moose the loving forever home he deserves? They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
