Darla is the definition of a happy, social pup. She’s a striking black and cream American Staffordshire Terrier with a short coat and plenty of personality. Her foster calls her “darling Darla,” which fits—with boundless affection, a playful streak, and a remarkable approachability, she draws people and dogs in everywhere she goes. She thrives on outdoor adventures like walks and doesn’t pull on the leash, but she’s just as content basking in patches of sunlight or sharing the sofa. When the world outside gets loud—fireworks or sirens—Darla just shrugs it off, unfazed. Darla loves everyone, from kids to adults, to both big and small dogs. She’s quick to learn tricks (her “shake” is a crowd favorite), and her goofy nature keeps things light. She does have a back leg that’s a little off, remnants of an old injury, but it never slows her down—or dims her zest for life.
