Blade, a handsome, goofy, and strong young boy who we recently saved from living his life on a chain but is now discovering what love feels like. At just 2–3 years old, Blade is still full of energy and curiosity, but has such a calm, gentle side and crawls into his fosters or volunteers lap. Behind his playful nature is a dog who wants to get it right, who just needs someone to show him how. Blade came from a rough past, but he’s blossoming into a loyal, affectionate companion. He is in need of a foster or permanent home—someone patient who can guide him with structure, kindness, and consistency. With the right support, Blade will become everything a dog is meant to be: joyful, bonded, and beloved. He has shown signs that he would do well with other dogs and children, though because of his excitement and exuberance, older children and proper dog introductions are paramount.
