About Mindy Special Needs
Mindy is available as a foster-to-adopt option due to her special needs. She’s an 11–12-year-old American Eskimo Dog, weighing around 25 pounds, with a strong build and striking white and cream coat. Mindy absolutely loves long walks and takes joy in running zoomies in a fenced yard—she’s fast and loves being outdoors! She’s completely housebroken and very healthy, with all her vaccinations current. Adjusting to new people takes Mindy time; she will bark at strangers until she feels safe, so a quiet home without children or frequent visitors will suit her best. Mindy has lived with another dog, but she is at her best with just one other calm canine companion—or as your only dog. Once Mindy trusts her people, she is deeply affectionate and loyal. Her former owners both passed away, and she’s looking for someone patient who can offer her love and safety as she settles in. Your new best friend is just one click away.
