About Socrates
Meet Socrates, a survivor who went from the streets of Hawaii to seeking his perfect forever home. Socrates handled a tough start, living in a cat colony and dealing with severe mouth inflammation caused by stomatitis and FIV. Now, with all his teeth removed, he’s thriving—free from pain, soaking up every bit of comfort, and quietly stealing hearts. Despite these medical challenges, Socrates is gentle, never aggressive, and always ready for a snuggle. He doesn’t hiss or bite, making him a safe companion for people and pets alike. If you’re worried about FIV, rest easy: Socrates is FeLV-negative and, with routine vet care and a safe indoor environment, can live a full, happy life. He’s easygoing with other calm cats and does well with friendly dogs, but he might enjoy having you all to himself. Socrates is litterbox trained, neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated for Rabies, FVRCP, and FeLV. After years of rough living, he wants nothing more than a soft bed, gentle hands, and a family who will spoil him with love. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
