About Izzie
Izzie landed on the euthanasia list at the county shelter, struggling with Valley Fever that affected her front leg and left her with a limp. Saving her was an easy decision after seeing those big eyes and gentle smile. She’s turned out to be an unfiltered cuddle bug who thrives on affection in a quiet home. You’ll find Izzie content curled up on the couch beside you most of the day, but once in a while she’ll surprise you with a burst of playful zoomies. Walks around the neighborhood, chewing on antlers, and lounging for belly rubs are her favorite activities. She has her shy, cautious moments meeting new people, but give her time to warm up—once she trusts you, she’ll want to be close and on your lap. Izzie is crate and house trained, knows her basic commands, and handles the leash well. She’s looking for an adult-only home where she will be the only dog. Her adoption fee covers her vaccines, completed exams, spay, and a microchip. Click apply to start the adoption process.
