Namir is a brindle mixed breed male with a short coat who’s about 6 years and 10 months old. He’s a large dog currently staying in Alpine, TX. Namir hasn’t yet mastered house training. He’s been neutered and is recovering well from previous health concerns.

About Namir

Namir landed at the shelter after being found loose on July 4th in the City of Alpine. When he arrived, he wasn’t in great shape and had an eye infection, but after some good care, he’s looking much better and has really come into his own. At first, he kept to himself, but with steady reassurance and kindness, Namir’s grown into a genuinely sweet, goofy guy who wins over everyone he meets. He has already met a handful of dogs—he’s more comfortable with others similar in size and temperament, especially those who like to play but not too rough. The bigger, more boisterous dogs make him a bit uneasy. Namir’s a reliable leash walker and likes to play a bit of tug when the walk ends. Staff love his gentle spirit and silly side, so he’s become a favorite around here. Ready to meet Namir? He’s waiting for someone who’ll appreciate a playful pal with a gentle core.
