Meet Tontu, Learning to Trust Again !! When Tontu first arrived at the shelter as a stray, he was absolutely terrified. He was unsure of where he was or whom to trust. But thanks to the gentle care, patience and love from the amazing shelter staff, this shy boy has started to come out of his shell. He’s learning that hands can be kind, walks can be fun and people can be safe. Once Tontu begins to trust you, he’ll let you pet him and lean into your touch like he’s been waiting for that moment all along.
