About Quill
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Quill is a wonderful and friendly young dog who arrived at the rescue with his brother Bill after an unfortunate encounter with a porcupine. Thanks to careful care, most of the quills have been removed, though there remains a small chance some could surface and need further removal. Fortunately, Quill is doing well and hasn't had any more related issues so far. He has a gentle, welcoming personality and gets along impressively with all people, including children. Quill previously lived with other dogs, and while heβs generally dog-friendly, proper introductions are recommended to ensure smooth transitions. Both he and his brother are energetic, likely around a year old, and though they love each other, they are being adopted out separately due to their size and energy. The rescue suspects some hound in their ancestry but isn't certain about their breed mix. Quill's adoption includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, and more essential health services, with the additional requirement that adopters complete an obedience class after adoption. Please note, adopters must visit Holland in person, as shipping is not an option. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
