Meet Quill. He and his brother Bill landed at the rescue after a porcupine encounter—both had quills removed, and while there’s a small chance a stray quill might still surface, Quill is healing well and doing just fine now. Quill is very friendly, gets along with everyone, and does especially well with kids. He’s lived with other dogs in the past; if you already have another pup, a proper introduction is recommended so they start off right. Quill is about a year old and has the energy you’d expect from a young, big hound mix—plenty of outdoor time and play will suit him best.
