About Bruce
Bruce is a six-year-old Lab mix with a black and white coat and an unmistakable stump of a tail. Life started on a rough noteāhe spent his early years in a cramped military dog box, but he hasnāt let those experiences take away his optimism. Bruce quickly adapts, and now he's eager to join an active home where fetch is just part of the daily rhythm. He loves his toys, especially balls, and will nudge one toward you until you play. If you're occupied, heāll keep himself entertained, but having a companion is what he prefers. Bruce gets along well with other dogs and isnāt an alpha; his best friend in foster care is another dog named Gunnar. Heās housebroken and enjoys snugglingāhe'll sleep in bed with you unless he gets too warm, then moves to the floor. Car rides and inclusion in family life get him excited. He does best with people who can match his energy and offer playtime and companionship, ideally alongside another playful dog. Gentle separation anxiety means Bruce does better when left indoors with something to chew, but he isnāt destructive. His front teeth are a little worn, a small reminder of his tough past, but he still chews, eats, and wrestles like a champ. Bruce is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccinations, microchipped, and ready to meet his forever family. Give him a chance to show you just how much fun and love he brings.
