Starship arrived back at the rescue when her previous owner could no longer care for her. She’s a high-energy, playful dog, but it takes time for her to warm up to new people. Around strangers, Starship is especially nervous, so several meet and greets are likely needed before she’ll be ready to head home. Once comfortable, she wins over everyone with her personality and affection. Starship isn’t suited for communal living like apartment complexes. She must join an adult-only, cat-free home. Another dog might work, but only after a slow and successful introduction. She’s considered one of the rescue’s “Extra Loved” dogs—her adoption donation is fully sponsored to help her find a family willing to give her that extra helping of patience and care.
