About Smokey
Start your journey together! Apply now. Smokey is looking for a patient and understanding home after arriving at the Animal League of Green Valley with a couple of feline companions when his previous owners could no longer care for so many pets. He’s been adjusting to his new environment and often finds comfort in a cozy wall cubby. Volunteers are able to gently pet and brush his body using a wand, though he isn’t quite ready for head pets just yet. Smokey coexists peacefully with other cats, making him well-suited for a multi-cat household. Above all, he would blossom in a quiet home with someone who can give him time, patience, and the security he needs to feel safe and let his sweet side shine through. As a fun fact, with a birthday of June 16, Smokey is a Gemini—a sign known for curiosity and adaptability, which might help him as he settles into a new life. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
