About Jewel
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! When Jewel first arrived at Animal Ark, she had been through a lotāwandering onto a farm in desperate need of help, with a large wound on her back and uncertainty about whether she was expecting kittens. The caring people who found her named her Jewel, and she is a sweet, 5-year-old female tortoiseshell cat. Thanks to her rescuers, she received immediate medical attention and a safe place to stay. Shortly after arriving, Jewel gave birth to three beautiful kittens: Topaz, Opal, and Ebony, and she was a devoted mother until they were ready for homes of their own. Now, Jewel is recovering well and is ready to start a new, happy chapter in a loving home. She isn't fond of being picked up, but she is content to be healing and simply wants a safe, permanent place to call home. While there is no history regarding her behavior with other animals or children, Jewel is grateful for her second chance and excited to meet the family that will help her thrive. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
