About Diva's Had To Say
Diva’s Had To Say is eleven and brings an easy confidence to her days—long, slow walks, a perfect nap in a sunny spot, and a fondness for quiet time with her people. Her road to Pennington, NJ has not been a straight one. Surrendered to a shelter in 2022 and later welcomed into a rescue foster network, Diva charmed everyone, including an older couple who adopted her soon after. Life with them was filled with backyard lounging and gentle companionship, but serious health setbacks forced them to let her go for Diva’s own good. Since returning to foster, Diva has proved herself again: simple to care for, calm and affectionate, always the quiet observer who’ll give a bark when you forget to close a door. Her pleasures are simple—chew toys, car rides, sunbeams, and snoring naps. Diva currently needs to be the only pet in the home; she doesn’t get along with cats or other dogs. In exchange, she offers a steadfast, peaceful presence for someone who wants a loyal friend who expects little more than snacks, strolls, and a warm place to rest. She’s spayed, house trained, up to date on vaccines, and her short chocolate-brown coat matches her no-fuss attitude. Born June 7—she’s a Gemini, so a little wit comes standard.
