Holly is a sweet, young, momma kitty who is so happy to be saved and be in a home. Holly (aka Holly Go Lightly) came into rescue as a starving mother of 6 pleading for help in a motel parking lot by some loud construction. After she was fed and allowed to relax, she lay by her rescuer and gave huge purrs in exchange for pets so grateful. She helped the rescuer trap her kittens and was an absolute dream mother throughout her time with her kits. Now, she is a beautiful cat who hopes to explore her life safe inside with a furever family. Holly excels at sharing her thoughts about her day with a melodic song for most situations. She doesn’t cry about things, but she might give a meow to remind you breakfast is late or to ask for help if she can’t find something she is seeking. She really didn’t like living in a house full of dogs, and took a few swipes at dogs that came too close for the first few months. Now, though, she allows dogs to come close, will cuddle on the same bed as a dog (but not too close), and allows dogs to pass by her most of the time and have engaged in play together. Holly would be happy as either a single kitty or with calm fur friends in her future home as long as she has humans to love and care for her.
