Odyssey is a 6-year-old brindle and cream mixed-breed dog who came to the rescue as a transfer and carries a big, lively personality. He’s strong, energetic, and sometimes forgets his size, especially when he gets excited and a little mouthy. Despite his bouncy ways, Odyssey is a sweet, affectionate dog with a soft spot for people, eager to please, and highly food-motivated—treats go a long way toward earning his focus. He’s learning basic manners and responds well to positive reinforcement. An experienced family ready to provide consistent exercise and structure will bring out his best. He may thrive with kids who are comfortable around bigger, exuberant dogs and could be matched with another dog after a proper introduction. Cats, however, aren’t a fit for his new home. Odyssey is currently participating in the SCI Fayette Training Program, where he lives with a handler and works on enrichment and training every day. He's neutered and up to date on vaccinations.
