Meet Moomoo, a lively 3-year-old boy in Pittsburgh, PA with a playful spirit and a lot of energy to spare. Moomoo earned his name thanks to his striking black and white coat, much like a classic cow pattern. He’s still young and carries plenty of that puppy exuberance, and his eager energy means he’ll do best with an active adopter who can provide him with lots of structure and enrichment. Moomoo does have some separation anxiety and will need guidance and patience to help him settle in. To support this, he’s eligible for a 3-week foster-to-adopt program, where Animal Friends’ trainers will work closely with you and Moomoo on positive reinforcement and behavior training so everyone gets off on the right foot. Moomoo could thrive in a home with children aged six or older and may be able to live with another dog after a careful introduction. His background includes specialized training through the PAWS program at SCI Fayette Correctional Institute, where he was cared for and trained by dedicated handlers. He’s been through a lot, but Moomoo remains loving and hopeful for a family that will give him time, attention, and a little extra patience.
