About Roxie
Roxie and her sister Lucy were rescued by the Humane Society in Arkansas after a rough start, abandoned on a rural road as part of a big litter. While they've shared a lot together, Roxie is more adventurous than Lucy, always alert on the porch and fascinated by squirrels—if only she were quicker! She’s happy with Lucy or can flourish on her own, as long as she gets attention and activity. Both are well-adjusted, crave affection, and enjoy family company. Roxie is excellent with children and needs only a short introduction to warm up to new people. Trained at a dog club, Roxie picks up on both hand and verbal commands and has never been destructive in the house. House trained, crate experienced, and now sleeping on her own bed, she’s a thoughtful, reliable companion. Roxie’s healthy, chipped, up to date on vaccines, and has consistent vet care. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and intelligent dog—ideally with a fenced yard—Roxie is ready for the next chapter. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
