About Pillow
Pillow is one of those dogs who just wants to be close, genuinely invested in the people around him. He’s been waiting quite some time to find someone who sees his gentle, playful side. Smart and attentive, Pillow’s the sort who listens for cues, wants to do the right thing, and puts effort into every interaction. On his outings away from the shelter, he’s easy company—quiet, laidback, never demanding, and always happy to curl up nearby. He finds happiness in simple routines: a game of fetch in the yard, a mellow walk, a squeaky toy to shake, or just practicing tricks for treats (he’ll do almost anything for a little cheese). After a play session, Pillow melts into belly rubs and cozy snuggle time. He’s most content when life is predictable and calm. He’s progressing nicely in APA’s Top Dog training, walks politely on leash, is house trained, and continues to grow more relaxed every day. Pillow needs an adult-only home or one with older teens who understand that he thrives with structure and gentle, consistent support. He gives back so much love, bringing loyalty, humor, and warmth to the home that finally lets him settle and truly belong. He’s shown himself to be a calm, respectful house guest and remains a sweetheart during sleepovers. Whether you want to foster or adopt, Pillow’s goofy grin and loving spirit are ready to bring a spark of joy into your home. Pillow truly shines when he’s part of a family that lets him feel safe and involved. Click apply to start the adoption process.
