About Kanga
Start your journey together! Apply now. Kanga is on the lookout for a squirrel-hunting fur-ever friend! This gentle giant adores nothing more than cuddling up and heading out for long walks in search of squirrels. Rolling in the grass and greeting every passerby—human or furry—is his idea of a perfect day. When things are quiet, Kanga enjoys the company of his feline best friend or simply relaxes in his crate surrounded by favorite blankets and toys. Kanga came into care in 2021 after bravely surviving a spinal injury that led to one of his hind legs being amputated. He's fully adjusted to life on three legs and doesn’t let anything slow him down. Due to his spinal injury, he is also incontinent, so he needs a few extra potty breaks and sports some adorable diapers while indoors. These differences don't bother him—he’s confident, active, and always ready to climb stairs, hop out of the car, or snuggle up when comfort is needed. Kanga’s resilience is matched only by his loving, cheerful nature—he’s one of the happiest, most affectionate dogs you’ll ever meet. If you’re searching for a loyal best friend, Kanga is waiting to meet you! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
