Penny represents the Golden Retriever breed in all the finest ways (even if she is a probably a mixed breed)! She is good with other dogs, loves people, wants to please, and is eager to learn! The cherry on top - she’s absolutely gorgeous! Penny walks on a nice loose leash so if you enjoy the leisurely walk, she’s your girl! After her walk, she enjoys taking a dip in the pool to cool off. Penny knows the “sit” command and is working on her “down” command. She is very treat-motivated so working on her new skills is so enjoyable and fun for her! Her attention span is top-notch! Her early years were not easy. Penny lived in a horse trailer, and food was tossed in for her meals. She did not get to enjoy life with people, but she came out the other side of that situation still loving people and wanting to be with them. She gets excited to see people and is still learning not to jump on people, but she is learning what is an appropriate greeting, and she’s a quick learner. With consistency and patience, she will learn proper puppy manners. Penny is good around other dogs and possibly cats. She would do well with a single person or a family with older children. Penny offers so much for her new family and is so deserving to have her own forever home!
