About Iris

Iris is a true couch companion who thrives when she’s near her people, preferably curled up and watching TV. Her favorite program is Dr. Phil, and she doesn’t mind admitting she’s learned a thing or two from his guests. Iris has crate and leash training under her belt, gets along well with dogs, and shows some cat selectivity—her motto seems to be, if it runs, it might be fair game for a chase. She came into rescue in rough shape, malnourished and pregnant after being abandoned by her former owners at a grocery store. Ever since, Iris has developed an appetite for life and for snacks. She’d love a home where TV time and shared treats are part of the daily routine. Iris does well with children and seems happiest around those willing to share their snacks. Now about 3-4 years old, she’s healthy, completely vetted, spayed, and ready for a soft place to land in Nahunta, GA. By the way, Iris is an Aquarius—no wonder she’s unique and full of character. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
